Medevac — Fatigue Rules
Secondary reference. Medical evacuation flights are covered by Division IV of Subpart 700 (sections 700.100–700.135), not the 703/704/705 fatigue rules — no 700.28 tables, no acclimatization mechanic. Positioning an aircraft before or after a medevac flight counts as a medevac flight (700.100(3)). The authoritative text is on Justice Laws.

Flight time includes flying for other operations, and the whole flight’s time on an augmented-crew flight (700.103(2)).
Flight duty period — 700.104
A flat maximum of 14 hours. No start-time tables.

One additional flight crew member, three flights or fewer, all rest-facility time counted as FDP. If the FDP was extended this way, the following rest period equals the duration of the duty just completed (700.131(4)).
Rest — 700.116
10 hours plus the travel time to and from the place the rest is taken. Advance notice required.

Time free from duty — 700.119
One of: ≥ 36 consecutive hours in any 7 days; ≥ 3 consecutive days in any 17 days; or ≥ 4 consecutive days in any 19 days. Advance notice required.
Long-range flights — 700.132
An FDP that ends more than four one-hour time zones from the point of departure (unless entirely within Northern Domestic Airspace) is limited to three flights and followed by a rest period at least equal to the FDP. A transoceanic flight may be followed by only one flight (excluding one unscheduled technical stop).
Controlled rest on the flight deck — 700.135
Same as 700.72: ≤ 45 minutes, in cruise, finished ≥ 30 minutes before descent, one crew member at a time, ≥ 2 on the flight deck; hand over and brief first, no duties for 15 minutes after.
