What it covers

  • The 700.28(2)/(3)/(4) duration tables and the 700.28(9) day-VFR table.
  • Acclimatization — if you're not acclimatized, it reads the table using the local time in the zone you're still acclimatized to (700.28(5); AC 700-047 § 4.22).
  • The 700.60 augmented-crew table (replaces the base maximum).
  • The 700.50 split-duty extension: (break − 45 min) × 100% or 50%.
  • The absolute 18-hour ceiling (700.62(1)).

What it doesn't

  • Positioning (700.43), delayed reporting time (700.52), consecutive-FDP limits (700.51).
  • The rest period that follows, or the disruptive-schedule / time-zone rest add-ons (700.41, 700.42).
  • Unforeseen operational circumstance extensions — those are the pilot-in-command's call (700.63).
